CHARLES NEL

MSc Biokinetics, BA HMS Hons (Sport Sci), BA HMS Hons (Biokinetics) and BSport Sci

Charles completed his MSc Biokinetics, BA HMS Hons (Sport Sci), BA HMS Hons (Biokinetics) and BSport Sci degrees at the University of Pretoria.

Charles is a passionate Biokineticist and Sports Scientist. Working with individuals from all walks of life, Charles aims to improve the quality of life of his patients by using scientifically based exercise programmes. In this way, exercise becomes the method of treatment. As a triathlete and a former TUKS athlete himself, Charles understands the importance of practicing biokinetics from a holistic perspective. The whole person with their physical and psychological conditions is a point of focus.

Charles is vastly experienced in working with a variety of orthopaedic and sports injuries, as well as the rehabilitation of individuals with chronic diseases and disabilities.

He has a special interest in working with orthopaedic rehabilitation, sport nutrition / conditioning, sport injuries + prevention and performance.

CHALTE-LEIGH LANDSBERG

BA HMS, BA HMS Hons (Biokinetics)

Chalte-Leigh completed her BA HMS, BA HMS Hons (Biokinetics) degrees at the University of Pretoria.

She has always participated in a variety of sporting codes which has fuelled her interest in Biokinetics and rehabilitation. She is passionate about her patients and their well-being.

She has a particular interest in sport injury rehabilitation as well as orthopaedic rehabilitation. During her time practicing, she has been involved with sport conditioning as well as individual rehabilitation of chronic and acute pain and Pilates sessions. More recently she has been working mainly with spinal injuries and conditions.

She is a firm believer that exercise and movement is beneficial for a variety of reasons.

Injuries and pain should not prevent you from moving, you just have to find new ways to move your body safely.
